NISSIN participates in a research meeting/seminar with Shibaura Institute of Technology
On July 14, 2025, NISSIN participated in the kickoff seminar for the “Research Group on Machining Data Science and Environmental Measures,” organized by the Advanced Manufacturing Research Center (AMRC) at Shibaura Institute of Technology. The purpose of establishing this study group is “to promote collaboration between researchers in machining and information processing to acquire, analyze, and utilize sensing data of machining phenomena”. The specific goals are to find the tool wear rate and appropriate machining conditions. NISSIN provides non-conformity reports for press-molded products. Experiments are then conducted based on the analysis results of the report data. The challenge is how to efficiently analyze the data among many failure modes. Since last year, NISSIN has been dispatching our manufacturing staff to the university seminars, leveraging the knowledge gained to enhance our technical skills and foster talent through practical application in our processes.
